19: Philip Klayman - Three Tree Coffee Roasters, Part 1

Robert & Rebecca Prince Season 2 Episode 4

We are thrilled to be talking with Philip Klayman today. Philip is one of the founders of Three Tree Coffee, a specialty coffee roaster with a three-fold mission to Empower Farmers, End Human Trafficking and Engage the Community.  I first ran across Three Tree Coffee Roasters when I saw an Ad for their partnership with Compassion International, which is about their Brewing Hope Coffee Subscription. After looking into them a little bit, I just need we had to have him on the show to share about their business and their three-fold mission.

Philip also provides small business consulting and bookkeeping to clients in food service and other retail industries.  Having worked in a local church and currently being engaged in entrepreneurship, Philip is passionate about holistic and sustainable business-as-mission (BAM) models to glorify God and bless the nations.  Philip lives with his wife, Anna, and four children in Statesboro, GA.

Join us as we talk about how he and his wife started roasting coffee, how it's developed into a multi-site business including four coffee shops, two of which are on college campuses, and how they keep on mission with their employees and customers.
